Chimney Relining and Venting
Woodstove Warehouse is a full service wood, pellet and fireplace insert stove installation company. We sell chimney liners, venting and stove pipe. You may purchase it and install it yourself, or we can install the chimney liner or piping it for you. Most chimney installations are handled by our family "in house" and never subbed out to unfamiliar chimney contractors. Our chimney and stove installations serve the Pennsylvania areas of Bucks County, Berks, Lehigh, Northampton, Montgomery counties in PA and Hunterdon and Warren Counties in New Jersey. If you have an existing unused chimney or flu now, it may possibly be used to service the appliance you want to purchase as long as it is not currently used by another appliance. A chimney must never serve more than one appliance. Appliances may never share flues. You may choose to hire a certified chimney sweep to perform an inspection. Most sweeps have video inspection equipment that allow them to record what is found on tape and shown to you later in the comfort of living room.
All wood stoves perform better if a 6" exhaust is used from the stove top to the top of the flue. Freestanding wood stoves in a fireplace as well as wood fireplace inserts benefit from a stainless steel liner. The chimney liner will increase and conserve the flue temperature making startup faster and easier, having less creosote formation, and offer an additional level of safety.
If you don’t have a chimney, one must be constructed. A metal "class A" chimney system from Woodstove Warehouse will cost about 25% of a masonry chimney and will perform better. These chimney systems can be constructed in a day or so using basic construction tools and skills. By following all local codes and manufacturers instructions a proper wood stove chimney installation will serve you faithfully for years to come.
Wood Pellet Stoves require a smaller pipe venting or chimney liner, and can be easily installed in a matter of hours. Wood Pellet Stoves do require hearth pad or to sit on a noncombustible surface (such as concrete or tile). Corner installations of pellet stoves are made easy with the use of venting elbows and wall thimbles. Pellet stoves have minimal clearances to combustibles and are great for space saving situations. A Wood pellet stove can use an existing chimney, providing one is available. Since pellet stoves are so efficient, they have a low exhaust gas temperature. To expedite these gases out of your chimney, manufacturers and code enforcement recommend a chimney liner. Pellet stoves use a 3" or 4" stainless steel liner that connects to the pellet stove and extends to the top of your chimney.
Woodstove Warehouse is committed to offering quality Pellet Stoves, Wood Stoves and Fireplace Inserts that support better operation, are green for the environment and clean burning to keep your family safe and warm. Although chimney liners are not always required, lining your chimney is almost always recommended for safety and greater performance of your wood or pellet stove insert. Your stove will perform better and provide a higher level of satisfaction. Woodstove Warehouse always has the most popular lengths of chimney liner in stock, and can special order any size or length your installation requires, usually within 24 to 48 hours from our custom Pennsylvania supplier. All of the flexible stainless steel chimney liners we sell come with a lifetime warranty as long as they are in your chimney. For the few hundred dollars, they are well worth the safety, as well as the ease of cleaning the chimney liner tube rather than the whole chimney.
